Our Legacy Tale

Ducey’s on the Lake, established in 1941 as Freeman’s Bass Lake Lodge, underwent several transformations before becoming part of The Pines Resort in 1975. Unfortunately, a 1988 grease fire destroyed the original structure. However, the restaurant was rebuilt and reopened in 1991, preserving its historical significance. Today, Ducey’s Restaurant continues to honor its roots, adorned with original signage and photographs. Enjoy an authentic mountain lodge atmosphere, complete with handcrafted tables and historical Bass Lake memorabilia, ensuring a timeless dining experience steeped in local history.
